Head of Dealing Desk– FX/CFD Brokerage

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a financial/FX company led by a management team with over 12 years of experience. Their mission is to simplify trading complexities and deliver excellence to clients across multiple continents and countries. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the dealing operations and managing the risk associated with trading activities in the forex financial company on highest level.


Position: Head of Dealing Desk– FX/CFD Brokerage

Location: UAE, Dubai (preferred) / Global

Work Model: Hybrid / Remote

Employment type: Full-time


RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and oversee daily Dealing Desk operations

• Manage relationships with liquidity providers and execution venues

• Monitor execution quality, spreads, pricing, slippage and order routing

• Oversee MT5 trading servers, bridges and liquidity connections

• Configure trading symbols, swaps, trading sessions and market settings

• Supervise dealer performance and ensure compliance with internal dealing procedures

• Investigate execution issues and resolve trade-related escalations

• Collaborate with Risk, IT and Compliance teams to ensure operational excellence

• Develop dealing procedures, workflows and performance standards

• Build, mentor and manage the Dealing team.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3–5+ years' experience leading Dealing operations within a Forex/CFD brokerage

• Strong knowledge of MT5 Manager and brokerage trading infrastructure

• Experience with PrimeXM, Centroid, oneZero or equivalent bridge technology

• Strong understanding of liquidity management, execution quality and pricing

• Excellent leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to perform under fast-moving market conditions

• Experience managing institutional trading operations

• Knowledge of FIX API connectivity and liquidity aggregation

• Previous experience leading international dealing teams.
