Position Purpose:
The Pricing Analyst at SRS Heritage Group plays a pivotal role in enhancing company profitability by optimizing pricing strategies and margin realization for business customers. Utilizing advanced Excel and office automation skills, the candidate will perform robust sales and item analysis, maintain and update the ERP database, and collaborate with regional and branch managers to address diverse pricing challenges. Key Responsibilities:
Utilize advanced Excel skills to conduct comprehensive sales and item analysis, driving price and margin optimization while ensuring accuracy and competitiveness in pricing strategies.
Maintain and update the ERP database to support efficient pricing and costing functions, leveraging office automation skills to enhance data integrity and streamline processes.
Collaborate closely with regional and branch managers to address and resolve pricing challenges, fostering strong relationships and facilitating informed decision-making for optimal pricing solutions.
Communicate effectively with all levels of management to implement daily pricing changes, including conducting quarterly reviews and implementing price adjustments throughout the year, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.
Partner with Regional Vice Presidents and Sales Managers to gather and analyze business intelligence, enabling data-driven regional price recommendations for both commodities and large-ticket items to enhance market responsiveness and competitive edge.
Champion the development and streamlining of daily processes through innovative automation solutions, sharing best practices and efficiencies with team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Maintain a high level of availability and responsiveness, demonstrating resourcefulness in resolving pricing-related inquiries and issues promptly to support dynamic business needs and objectives.
Advocate for the integration of veteran skills within the team, leveraging diverse experiences in leadership, teamwork, and integrity to enrich the organizational culture and drive collective success.
Direct Manager Direct Reports:
Direct Manager: The Pricing Analyst for the SRS Heritage Group will report directly to the Pricing Director. This position is characterized by a collaborative working environment with regional and branch managers to address and resolve pricing issues within assigned regions.
Direct Reports: The Pricing Analyst role does not include direct managerial responsibilities over personnel. However, it involves significant cross-functional collaboration, necessitating strong communication skills to effectively interact with various levels of management.
Travel Requirements:
The Pricing Analyst at SRS Heritage Group is required to undertake periodic travel to coordinate with regional and branch managers, ensuring alignment on pricing strategies and optimization goals.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in pricing analytics, office automation, or a related role.
Demonstrated experience in conducting sales and item analysis for price and margin optimization.
Proficient in Excel with advanced capabilities, including:
VLOOKUPs and other lookup functions.
Multi-sheet management.
Expertise in creating and utilizing Pivot Tables.
Ability to develop and implement macros.
Experience with ERP systems and database management.
Strong office automation skills with the capability to streamline processes.
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage regional pricing differences.
Strong collaborative skills to work with regional vice presidents and sales managers for business intelligence gathering.
Proven track record of clear and effective communication with all levels of management.
Capability to think outside of the box to develop and share innovative solutions.
Proactive approach to continuous learning and mastery of new skills.
Availability, responsiveness, and resourcefulness in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced Analytical Proficiency: Demonstrated mastery in quantitative analysis and the ability to employ statistical tools for comprehensive pricing assessments. Familiarity with data visualization platforms, such as Tableau or Power BI, to effectively communicate analytical findings.
Strategic Pricing Experience: Proven track record in strategic pricing initiatives, encompassing dynamic pricing strategies and demand forecasting. Experience in competitive analysis and market trend evaluation to drive informed pricing decisions.
Two years of experience selling/pricing Tile, Hardscape, and Pool Finishes: We are scaling the support of our national product lines, and the pricing analyst has the opportunity shape this effort.
ERP System Expertise: In-depth knowledge and operational experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, particularly in managing and updating pricing and costing data to enhance decision-making processes.
Leadership and Collaboration Skills: Strong leadership qualities with the capability to influence and collaborate across departments, facilitating cohesive partnerships with cross-functional teams to drive regional pricing strategies in line with organizational objectives.
Project Management Acumen: Familiarity with project management principles and tools to successfully lead and implement pricing optimization initiatives across diverse teams and geographic regions.
Financial Acumen: Understanding of financial principles, including profit and loss management, to effectively contribute to the company’s pricing profitability goals.
Change Management Capabilities: Experience in leading and adapting to transformational change, with a focus on continuous improvement in processes and systems related to pricing functions.
Innovative Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to apply innovative approaches to troubleshooting and resolving pricing discrepancies, with a focus on automation and efficiency improvements.
Industry Insight: Knowledge of industry-specific dynamics, particularly in construction supply and landscape distribution, to tailor pricing strategies that align with market needs and expectations.

Minimum Education:
Highschool Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field is preferred, with additional coursework or certifications in data analytics or financial modeling considered advantageous. Substantial relevant work experience may be considered as a suitable alternative.
Certifications:

Preferred:
Professional certification in Pricing (e.g., Certified Pricing Professional) is preferred.
Relevant financial or analytical certifications (e.g., Certified Management Accountant, CFA) are advantageous.
Advanced Excel or Microsoft Office certifications are beneficial.

The base salary for this position typically falls within the range of $61,200 to $79,500 annually. Starting wage may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. SRS Distribution offers additional competitive and non-financial benefits. Depending on the role, associates may also be eligible for performance-based bonus programs, commissions, profit-sharing programs, car allowance or automobile and fuel program, and reimbursement for travel expenses in accordance with company travel policy.
