Aconex & OpenText Consultant / Part - Time (Remote)

Job Summary

Muller's Solutions is seeking an experienced Aconex & OpenText Consultant to support the implementation, administration, integration, and optimization of both Oracle Aconex and OpenText Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with both platforms, enabling seamless document control, workflow automation, records management, and collaboration across engineering, construction, and enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, administer, and support Oracle Aconex and OpenText solutions.
• Design and optimize document control processes, workflows, and approval cycles across both platforms.
• Implement and maintain document management, records management, and correspondence management solutions.
• Configure user roles, permissions, security, and access controls.
• Support system integration between Aconex, OpenText, ERP systems, and other enterprise applications.
• Perform system configuration, troubleshooting, upgrades, and performance optimization.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and system documentation.
• Provide end-user training, knowledge transfer, and technical support.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and recommend best practices.
• Ensure compliance with document governance, audit, and regulatory requirements.
• Support data migration, document migration, and system enhancement initiatives.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and Document Management solutions.
• Hands-on experience with both Oracle Aconex and OpenText is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of document control, records management, workflow automation, and collaboration processes.
• Experience configuring and administering Aconex projects, workflows, forms, document registers, and correspondence modules.
• Experience administering OpenText Content Suite, Extended ECM, Document Management, or related OpenText solutions.
• Experience integrating Aconex and OpenText with enterprise applications such as ERP or Project Management systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle Aconex implementation or deployment projects.
• Experience with OpenText Extended ECM, Content Suite, Archive Center, or Documentum migration projects.
• Knowledge of APIs, integrations, and data migration methodologies.
• Familiarity with engineering, construction, infrastructure, or government projects.
• Experience working in remote consulting engagements.

Mandatory Requirement

Candidates must have proven, hands-on experience with both Oracle Aconex and OpenText. Profiles with experience in only one of the two platforms will not be considered.
