Job description

Associate Consultant – Microsoft Security (Purview)

  • Work from home-first. Based in Ireland or the UK
  • No sponsorship offered. You need to be legally authorised to work in the UK or Ireland full-time.
  • Interview process: Video + Onsite
  • A good grasp of Purview and related technologies is necessary for this role

Threatscape’s Microsoft Security Practice is growing, and we are looking for an Associate Consultant who is eager to learn, motivated to develop their technical skills, and confident communicating with both clients and colleagues. You’ll work closely with our experienced consultants, including five Microsoft MVPs, while building a strong foundation in Microsoft Security technologies.

This role is ideal for someone with early professional experience in IT or security (1–3 years), who has a good grasp of Microsoft technologies and a strong desire to grow into a worldclass security consultant. For this role the focus will be on Purview, data security, data governance and AI.

Above all, we value people who have high agency, contagious enthusiasm, communicate clearly, enjoy collaborating, are curious, proactive learners, and show professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently in a remote-first role is key.

If that sounds like you, we want to talk.

  • Help prepare materials such as presentations, reports, and technical notes.
  • Learn to evaluate and advise on Microsoft security tools, gradually taking on more client-facing work as you develop.
  • Collaborate with your colleagues on internal projects, tooling, service improvements, and knowledge sharing.

Depending on your experience, you will not be expected to lead engagements immediately, but we will coach you toward that during the introductory period.
