Remote Employee BPO has an outstanding opportunity for you!


Role: US Personal and Tax Return Accountant
Compensation: Competitive Basic Salary
Benefits: HMO plus 2 Free Dependents, P1,500 Rice Allowance, Night Differential (If applicable).
Work Schedule: 5-day work week, 6:00 a.m. 3:00 p.m. Philippine time
Work Setup: WFH


Responsibilities:


  • File federal, state, and local tax documents, including property tax returns, state pages, and federal, state, and municipal returns, extensions, and quarterly payments.
  • Prepare tax provision schedules by reviewing, preparing, and consolidating provision schedules.
  • Recommend tax strategies by researching federal, state, and local taxation issues.
  • Maintain legislative materials by reviewing, interpreting, and implementing new or revised laws.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations by forwarding required information to federal, state, and local authorities.
  • Revise procedures by developing and streamlining procedures and worksheets for the calculation of tax provisions.
  • Identify the profitability of potential mergers and acquisitions by analyzing tax information, calculating key ratios, and identifying areas of tax savings.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.


Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience with US Accounting/US Tax Preparation is a plus.
  • Entry Level/Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or a related course is preferred.
  • Good work ethic and willingness to be trained.
  • Strong commitment to integrity and accountability.
  • Highly motivated individual.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Graduates from UP, Ateneo, DLSU, or UST are highly regarded and considered a plus
