Job description

All candidates must be authorized to work in Luxembourg and be eligible to be affiliated with Luxembourg income tax and social security (residence in Luxembourg or close to the border in France, Belgium, or Germany). We are unable to accept contract work (no B2B or freelance contracts) at this time. We will consider applicants who live in Luxembourg but do not have a work visa yet on a case by case basis. Criminal background checks will be conducted after an employment offer.


About the role

We are looking for a mid-level or senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team full time. This role requires deep, hands-on experience testing complex multi-platform veterinary and clinical imaging software, including direct experience with integration testing between hardware scanning devices and our Techcyte software platforms.


Responsibilities

  • Test and validate features across the Vetscanimagyst and Techcyte platforms, including cross-platform regression coverage
  • Contribute to integration testing between Techcyte software and external hardware devices, including Grundium scanners
  • Validate third-party integrations and API endpoints using Postman or similar tools 
  • Perform localization and translation testing across multiple languages and regional configurations
  • Conduct and document exploratory testing on complex, multi-vertical features; identify and report defects with clear, actionable reproduction steps
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and UX to clarify requirements and contribute to grooming and planning
  • Contribute to test scenario creation and coverage analysis using AI-assisted tools
  • Identify and flag opportunities for process and coverage improvements

What makes you the ideal candidate

  • Strong understanding of QA processes within an Agile development environment
  • Excellent written communication skills in English— able to write clear, reproducible bug reports and test documentation
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with distributed, async-first teams across multiple time zones
  • Proficiency with Jira for test tracking, traceability, and coverage management
  • Practical experience with localization and translation testing across multiple languages in a production software environment
  • 3+ years experience validating various endpoints and PDF output changes using Postman or similar API testing tools
  • Experience with AI-assisted QA workflows is a must

Education and Experience

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field
  • At least 8+ years of quality assurance experience in Agile development environments
  • 2+ years of in-depth, hands-on experience testing the Vetscan Imagyst platform across multiple verticals 
  • Demonstrated experience testing integrations between the Techcyte platform and external hardware scanning devices, specifically Grundium scanners

Salary: €53,000 - €59,500
