LemFi (Series B) is building the go-to financial app for the Global South.


Moving to a new country shouldn’t mean starting from zero. That's why our team of 400+ spanning 20+ countries is building a financial ecosystem that helps immigrants stay connected to home, build stability, and create wealth regardless of where they are from or where they live.


What began as fast, affordable remittances is now evolving into a complete platform for multi-currency accounts, payments, credit, and long-term financial growth.


With millions of users across the globe, we process over $1B in monthly transactions to 30+ countries, proving that borders shouldn't limit financial opportunity.

About the role

LemFi is expanding fast across Europe, and Nigerian diaspora communities are at the heart of that growth. We're building culturally rooted, community-first growth strategies — not generic ad campaigns — and we need someone who can own that work end-to-end in one of our key European markets: Germany, Spain, Italy, or Ireland.


This is a deeply entrepreneurial role. You'll be the in-market face of LemFi — running user acquisition, forging partnerships, showing up at community events, and feeding real on-the-ground insight back into the product and marketing teams. If you thrive when you're building from scratch, moving fast, and making things happen with limited playbook, this is your role.

What you'll build & own

  • Design and execute user acquisition strategies for your assigned European market — online and offline, measurable and iterated relentlessly.

  • Own community-led growth: plan and run events, meetups, and cultural activations that build genuine trust and accelerate word-of-mouth.

  • Identify, pitch, and land partnerships with diaspora businesses, community organisations, and local influencers — then manage them for real impact.

  • Be the in-market voice of the user: conduct regular market research, surface cultural insights, and brief the product and marketing teams on what actually matters to your community.

  • Track your acquisition funnel and partnership performance with data — use AI tools to synthesise insights faster, spot trends, and sharpen your next move.

  • Represent LemFi with clarity and conviction: you're not just a brand ambassador, you're the reason people in your city trust us with their money.

  • Travel across your market and occasionally across Europe for events, activations, and community moments — flexibility is part of the brief.

Your experience

  • 2–4 years in community growth, field marketing, partnerships, or go-to-market roles — fintech, diaspora, or multicultural environments strongly preferred.

  • Deep, lived familiarity with Nigerian diaspora communities in Europe — you understand the culture, the trust dynamics, and the money habits.

  • Proven track record of hitting acquisition or growth targets, not just running activities.

  • Strong communicator who can influence community leaders, local partners, and internal stakeholders equally well.

  • Comfortable working independently and remotely — you don't need a manager to tell you what to do next.

  • Analytically sharp: you're at ease with dashboards, acquisition metrics, and iterating based on what the data says.

  • Fluency in English required; working proficiency in the local language of your market (German, Spanish, Italian) is a strong plus.

Nice to have

  • Experience in remittances, multi-currency accounts, or other cross-border financial products.

  • Existing relationships within Nigerian diaspora networks in your target market.

  • Familiarity with AI tools for content creation, research, or campaign analysis.
