Job description

RemoteVA PH is seeking a detail-oriented Construction Documentation & Data Entry Specialist to support our clients in the construction and architecture industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for completing various administrative and technical tasks related to building documentation, permitting, and data management.

This role requires the ability to read and understand architectural, plumbing, and electrical plans, as well as experience with form filling and client data intake. Familiarity with the Department of Buildings (DOB) in New York City is a strong advantage, though not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

-Accurately fill out forms and official documents related to building permits and compliance.

-Input data from clients and construction documents into digital systems.

-Interpret architectural, plumbing, electrical, and structural plans to extract relevant information.

-Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and clarify document requirements.

-Understand and apply information related to municipal departments, especially NYC DOB systems (preferred).

-Maintain organized digital files and ensure timely submission of required documentation.

Requirements

Qualifications:

-Proven experience in data entry, administrative support, or construction documentation.

-Ability to read and interpret architectural, plumbing, electrical, and engineering drawings.

-Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

-Familiarity with construction terms, permit processes, and building departments (NYC DOB familiarity is a plus).

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

-Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and PDF editing tools.

-Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
