Job Title: Sales Representative - Remote work

Job Description: We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Sales Representative knowledgeable in the bidding process to join our team. This role requires strong negotiation skills, a keen understanding of the sales cycle, and the ability to prepare and submit competitive bids. You will be responsible for identifying sales opportunities, preparing bid proposals, and securing new business through effective bidding strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through market research and networking
  • Prepare and submit competitive bid proposals in response to RFPs (Request for Proposals) and RFQs (Request for Quotations)
  • Analyze bid specifications and requirements to ensure compliance and maximize bid potential
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions to achieve favorable outcomes for the company
  • Track and report on bid status, outcomes, and sales performance metrics
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and insights for bid preparation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, with a focus on bidding and proposal preparation
  • Strong understanding of the bidding process, including RFPs, RFQs, and contract negotiations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with CRM software and sales tracking tools
  • Familiarity with industry-specific bidding platforms and databases
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
