About the job


Job title: Risk Management Surveyor -  RMS levels 1,2& 3 considered
Location: Remote covering North East Manchester   (requires travel)
Total reward package: Competitive total reward including salary, bonus, pension and car allowance
Salary: Basic salary of £42,000 to £55,000 per annum depending on qualification and experience level
Working hours: 40 hours per week (inclusive of travel time)

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Risk Management Surveyor, you will carry out site inspections and provide technical advice to support safe, compliant construction on projects registered under operating within the MGA Inspection Services established brands Premier Guarantee & LABC Warranty .

This is a field-based role where you will inspect new-build and newly converted buildings, ensuring work aligns with the Technical Manual and Building Regulations. You will plan and manage your own workload, record inspection findings, and communicate outcomes clearly to customers and colleagues.

You’ll play a key role in identifying defects, maintaining standards, and supporting developers and builders with practical, solution-focused guidance, helping ensure projects meet required compliance and quality expectations.

What You’ll Need


•    3+ years’ experience in construction, surveying, inspection or a similar technical role
•    RMS level 1,2& 3,  If RMS L1, demonstrating a willingness to progress to Chartered (Member level) & Class 2b Competent under the Building Inspector Competency Framework
•    Good understanding of Building Regulations, site inspections and defect identification
•    Experience working with developers, builders or construction stakeholders
•    Comfortable using MS Office and mobile devices
•    Full UK driving licence
•    Ability to travel across multiple sites (reasonable adjustments welcomed)
