Your Mission & Impact

As our People Partner, you'll be the connective tissue between our people and our business. You'll partner directly with managers and team members across the US, Israel, and Europe to build healthy teams, raise the bar on performance, and create clarity where a fast-moving company needs it most. This is a broad, hands-on role reporting to our COO. You'll own the day-to-day People experience while helping shape the systems, rhythms, and culture that let a ~60-person company scale well.

About You

You're a mid-senior People professional who's equal parts empathetic and operationally sharp. You've partnered with managers through real moments, hard conversations, org changes, performance, growth, and you're just as comfortable building the process behind them. You thrive in ambiguity, move with judgment, and care deeply about doing right by both the team and the business.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with managers through team health, performance conversations, feedback, and role clarity

  • Own core People Ops for the employee lifecycle, onboarding, offboarding, job changes, and audits, primarily in Rippling

  • Maintain People systems and data integrity across Rippling, Ashby and Notion, keeping data clean and reporting trustworthy

  • Run our people rhythms, including performance cycles, engagement surveys, calibration prep, and feedback loops

  • Support hiring end-to-end with hiring managers, from job descriptions and scorecards to interview logistics and candidate experience

  • Improve onboarding and employee programs as we grow, with a focus on a consistent, high-quality experience across the US, Israel, and Europe

  • Partner with the COO and Finance on headcount, compensation, and workforce planning

  • Serve as a trusted first point of contact for employee questions and concerns, helping managers and the exec team make sound, people-first decisions

What Makes You a Fit

  • 5–8 years of People Partner / HRBP or People Ops experience, ideally in high-growth startups

  • Strong operational instincts, organized, crisp, and dependable, with the ability to build structure where none exists

  • Confidence coaching managers through feedback, alignment, and performance conversations

  • Hands-on experience with People systems (Rippling, Ashby, CultureAmp) or the ability to pick them up quickly

  • Exceptional communication and sound judgment; people trust you with sensitive information

  • Global mindset and comfort operating across US, Israel, and European teams and time zones

  • Bias for action and thrive in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment

Nice to Have

  • Prior startup or scale-up experience

  • Working knowledge of US employment practices, plus exposure to international (Israel / EU) employment norms

  • Familiarity with compensation benchmarking or people analytics experience

Life @ A.Team

  • A supportive team that has your back. Work with empathetic, entrepreneurial teammates who are deeply motivated by our mission to change the future of work.

  • Room to build. Real resources and tools to help you succeed and reach your own goals.

  • Unlimited time off. Take the time you need to recharge so you can bring your best every day.

At A.Team, we believe diverse teams create better products and experiences. We are committed to equal employment opportunities regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender, gender identity or expression, or veteran status.
