UI Engineer (f/m/x)

DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology centre in Central and Eastern Europe. We are seeking an expert Senior UI Developer to join our cross-functional Treasury Technology team. You will play a pivotal role in engineering a complex, enterprise-grade securitization platform. This is a hands-on technical role focused on building and scaling a modern React application, where you will be responsible for frontend architecture, code quality, and delivery excellence.

Responsibilities

• Develop & Architect: Lead the hands-on development and architecture of a large-scale React application using a modern stack (React 18, TypeScript, Vite).
• Micro-Frontends: Design and implement micro-frontend strategies using Module Federation to ensure the application is scalable and maintainable.
• Own Quality: Drive code quality and stability by defining and enforcing standards for testing (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright), linting, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Technical Leadership: Guide and mentor other engineers on best practices, modern patterns (e.g., Redux Toolkit, React Query), and complex technical challenges.
• Collaborate & Deliver: Partner with business, architecture, and backend teams to deliver robust, end-to-end technology solutions in a highly regulated environment.

Skills  

• Extensive hands-on experience building and architecting large-scale, enterprise-level React applications.
• Deep expertise in the modern frontend ecosystem: React 18, TypeScript, and state management libraries (Redux Toolkit, React Query).
• Strong experience with micro-frontend architectures, specifically using Module Federation.
• Proficient with modern build tools (Vite) and automated testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright).
• Proven ability to own frontend quality, including CI/CD pipelines, dependency governance, and release processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide technical leadership within a collaborative team.
