DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology centre in Central and Eastern Europe. Since its set-up in 2013, Bucharest Technology Centre (BEX) has constantly proven its capacity to deliver global technology products and services, playing a dynamic role in the Bank’s technology transformation.

We have a robust, hands-on engineering culture dedicated to continuous learning, knowledge-sharing, technical skill development and networking. We are an essential part of the Bank’s technology platform and develop applications for many important business areas.

We are seeking an expert Senior UI Developer to join our cross-functional Treasury Technology team. You will play a pivotal role in engineering a complex, enterprise-grade securitization platform. This is a hands-on technical role focused on building and scaling a modern React application, where you will be responsible for frontend architecture, code quality, and delivery excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop & Architect: Lead the hands-on development and architecture of a large-scale React application using a modern stack (React 18, TypeScript, Vite).
  • Micro-Frontends: Design and implement micro-frontend strategies using Module Federation to ensure the application is scalable and maintainable.
  • Own Quality: Drive code quality and stability by defining and enforcing standards for testing (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright), linting, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Technical Leadership: Guide and mentor other engineers on best practices, modern patterns (e.g., Redux Toolkit, React Query), and complex technical challenges.
  • Collaborate & Deliver: Partner with business, architecture, and backend teams to deliver robust, end-to-end technology solutions in a highly regulated environment.

Skills  

  • Extensive hands-on experience building and architecting large-scale, enterprise-level React applications.
  • Deep expertise in the modern frontend ecosystem: React 18, TypeScript, and state management libraries (Redux Toolkit, React Query).
  • Strong experience with micro-frontend architectures, specifically using Module Federation.
  • Proficient with modern build tools (Vite) and automated testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright).
  • Proven ability to own frontend quality, including CI/CD pipelines, dependency governance, and release processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide technical leadership within a collaborative team.
