The Job:  

As the Customer Service Specialist, you will support our Customer Service daily operational rhythms. This includes entering and maintaining customer account information for orders, entering & processing orders into our various order intake systems, and contacting customers for missing order specifications via various channels using designated ERP, operating systems, and web-based tools. 
Success in this role will include the ability to research answers using multiple resources to process orders in a timely manner. This individual will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, have an attention to detail, and be well organized.. You’ll get to:  

  • Execute all tasks with high quality output and in a time manner that achieves associated KPI targets.
  • Process and handle customer requests, orders, and other customer related matters pertaining to order coordination and logistics.
  • Act as a liaison with operations, sales personnel, and other partners to meet and exceed customer expectations. 
  • Maintain working knowledge of all company products, services, and processes. 
  • Develop proficiencies in learning and processing cross branded orders
  • Other duties as assigned by management. 
  • Answer incoming calls and execute outgoing calls in support of customers, Sales, and supplier and peers in a timely manner to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Process customer and internal requests in a positive and professional manner, while adhering to Stanley
  • Black & Decker’s Code of Business Ethics
  • Enter credit card transactions while ensuring accuracy, while adhering to all PCI compliance and internal regulations/standards.
  • Maintain working knowledge of company products, policies, services, and procedures

  • 0 - 2+ years of customer service experience 
    Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
  • SAP & Salesforce, preferred

    Ability to work flexible work hours and overtime if needed
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong communication skills in English – written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Commitment to Customer Service
  • Patience and a positive work attitude
