How you can contribute to gridX

Do stuff that matters: Become part of our Device Infrastructure Team and play your own part in digitizing the energy industry with us, making renewable energy accessible and affordable everywhere.


Our IoT gateway, the gridBox, is a central part of our platform. 


We are an enabler team! As the Device Infrastructure team, we lay the groundwork for the gridBox’s success and ensure its scalability – from production to our own deployment system, which allows us to develop and roll out new applications to our customers in record time. Using tools developed primarily in Go, we make daily life easier for other internal teams working with the gridBox.


  • You operate our Kubernetes-based IoT management platform and are responsible for its further development


  • You optimize the gridBox production process in collaboration with our hardware team by developing the production software, focusing on areas like traceability and system integration


  • You provide monitoring and deployment tools for our developers, enabling them to roll out their applications to the gridBox independently, while acting as the go-to expert for these tools


  • You take advantage of the room we provide to truly make an impact, leveraging your expertise and experience as we break new ground together


This is how you and your application stand out


  • You bring some experience in IoT and containerized applications running on embedded Linux systems


  • You have experience with our go-to programming language Go/ Golang and have already been able to use it in a full-time job #go #golang


  • You have extensive experience with Docker and Bash, as well as a solid understanding of IP networking


  • You are proficient in Kubernetes and well-versed in modern software development best practices
