About the job

Classification Product Operations  is Doubleverify’s business unit that supports the operations necessary for the development and measurement of products powered by classification. Our team dedicates every day to making the internet a better place for advertisers, brands, and publishers. We partner with teams across Doubleverify to deliver automated and manual solutions for classification of content across various channels of the web. As a diverse team of Associates, QA’s, and Leads, we work together to improve classification products and processes, and maintain our industry-leading position in advertising tech solutions for all publishing channels that Doubleverify supports. Our work results in bettering the experience of brands, advertisers, and publishers across the globe, and reducing the ROI of bad actors who seek to circulate harmful or unsuitable content and monetize it through the advertising ecosystem.

In this role, you will be responsible for continuous improvement, coaching & development, and keeping the team with outstanding motivation to do a great job. You will start with a team of 8 - 15 content labeling associates so you must get to know your team, identify strengths and weaknesses to create your action plan and deliver on monthly and quarterly commitments. You will establish a culture infused with DoubleVerify’s core values and drive timely delivery of manual classification and curation in close collaboration with DV HQ teams and others. To accomplish this goal, you will work with all levels of the department to create and sustain operational excellence  and drive positive impact on KPIs for the team’s success.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Supervise and coordinate daily classification / labeling activities of team members.
  2. Ensure all team members are up to date on training and latest policy updates 
  3. Provide guidance and support to team members, promoting a collaborative and productive work environment.
  4. Monitor and evaluate employee performance, providing constructive feedback at least once per week and implementing improvement plans when necessary.
  5. Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  6. Identify training needs and coordinate with HQ Teams to ensure our Costa Rica site has the necessary support, knowledge and skill to perform with outstanding speed and accuracy
  7. Foster a culture of teamwork, open communication, and continuous improvement with daily stand up meetings, calibration sessions and feedback.
  8. Address and resolve conflicts within the team in a timely and effective manner, keeping in mind DVs CORE values PACT (Passion, Accountability, Collaboration, Trailblazing), and upholding all guidance in our company policies and EOR handbook. 
  9. Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.
  10. Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to upper management.
