We foster a learning culture that allows for us to continually invest in our employees ensuring a long-term career here at EML.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As part of our diverse team based in Sydney, Newcastle, Parramatta or Tweed, you will help make a positive impact on someone’s life every day. You will feel great satisfaction knowing your talent and hard work has a purpose.

As a Workplace Safety and Risk Specialist you will play a key role in delivering employer engagement, education and practical risk management support across a diverse client portfolio. Working closely with the Workplace Safety & Risk Principal, you’ll help translate strategic research and psychosocial initiatives into real-world conversations, workshops and solutions that improve workplace safety outcomes.

This is a highly visible, relationship-driven role. You’ll regularly engage with senior executives, operational leaders, safety teams and frontline workers, facilitating discussions, webinars and workshops that help organisations identify risks and implement effective control strategies. If you’re someone who enjoys presenting, travelling, building relationships and making complex safety concepts easy to understand, this role will give you plenty of opportunity to do exactly that.

This will be a permanent, full-time position based in our Sydney, Newcastle, Parramatta or Tweed offices, with work-from-home flexibility (up to 2 days per week).

  • Roll out psychosocial and mental health initiatives and support workplace safety education programs
  • Turn data insights into practical injury prevention and return-to-work strategies for employers

ABOUT YOU

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in WHS, safety consulting, workers compensation, return-to-work coordination or a similar client-facing role
  • Comfortable presenting, facilitating workshops or speaking to groups, whether in person or virtually
  • Confident engaging with senior executives, middle management and frontline workers across a range of industries
  • Strong understanding of WHS legislation and workers compensation frameworks across multiple jurisdictions
  • Experience working across multi-site or multi-state operations is highly regarded
  • Diploma in WHS (minimum), with tertiary qualifications in safety, psychology, allied health, HR or risk management highly regarded
