About the Role

We're looking for a Marketing Video Artist / Generalist to join the creative marketing team behind a new mobile 4X strategy game in development at Goodgame Studios, part of the Stillfront Group. Our marketing is creative-led. We acquire players through video and playable ads, and we hold our work to the standard of the best creative in the genre.

This is a hands-on role that runs from brief to finished ad. You take the brief, build the scene in Unity, capture the footage, and deliver the cut. In this role you make most of the footage yourself rather than sourcing it, so you should be equally at home staging a lightweight scene in-engine and cutting it together in post.

We start with a paid trial week. If it goes well, we want to keep working together over many months.

YOUR MISSION

  • Produce 30 to 45 second vertical (9:16) video ads from brief to final delivery

  • Build lightweight scenes and minigames in Unity to stage and record footage. This is how most of the footage in the role gets made

  • Generate hook variations quickly and iterate on the concepts that work, paying close attention to the first three seconds

  • Use the best-performing ads in the genre as your quality benchmark

  • Bring provided 3D character assets into the engine, then stage, animate, and composite them into hooks that drive installs

YOUR BACKSTORY

  • Hands-on Unity experience for in-engine ad production. Required

  • Strong editing and motion graphics skills (After Effects, Premiere, or DaVinci Resolve)

  • 3D pipeline knowledge (Blender, Maya, or similar) for importing, placing, lighting, and animating assets

  • A clear sense of what makes the first three seconds of an ad work

  • A fast, self-directed way of working. You give a brief a few options to react to rather than one guess

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience producing performance marketing or social media video creative

  • Comfort using AI tools in the production workflow (welcome and encouraged – just tell us where you used them)

How We Hire

Shortlisted candidates receive a three-task paid case study plus a short creative concept write-up. The tasks mirror the day-to-day work: a game analysis, a reverse-engineering of a reference ad, and the production of a short vertical ad using our assets.
