Job description

The Medication Reconciliation Lead Pharmacy Technician at PipelineRx (now a part of Evernorth Health Services) supports Remote Pharmacy Services by collecting and documenting accurate patient medication histories, assisting pharmacists, and performing related clinical and administrative tasks.

Shift:

You will be required to work anywhere from 8a - 3a, EST, Mon - Fri.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain, verify, and document accurate medication histories by communicating with patients, caregivers, pharmacies, providers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Support pharmacists by escalating medication discrepancies or clinical concerns and ensuring documentation is completed in electronic medical records.
  • Assist leadership with daily workflow coordination, staffing coverage, team communication, onboarding, training, coaching, and operational support.
  • Monitor productivity, quality, turnaround time, service expectations, and compliance with company policies, client requirements, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

  • Active State Pharmacy Technician License and National Pharmacy Technician Certification required.
  • 4+ year(s) of pharmacy technician experience, including at least 3+ year(s) of medication reconciliation or medication history experience in a hospital setting.
  • Strong computer, communication, interpersonal, and technology skills; experience with Epic, Cerner, and/or Meditech preferred.

As part of Evernorth Health Services, this role supports CarepathRx within
our Pharmacy and Care Delivery organization. Our team focuses on
specialty pharmacy and infusion services in partnership with hospitals and
health systems.

NOTE: You will be required to have reliable internet connectivity provided through a wired ethernet connection. A mobile or hot spot environment is not acceptable, and you may need to purchase an Ethernet cord depending on your current set up. 

Additional Information: This role may support other Clinical Services technician programs that could require additional licensing, including Medication Therapy Management, as business needs require.


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 22 - 32 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
