Summary:

In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor and project leader supporting client organizations in the Medical Capital Equipment domain. You will lead complex consulting engagements by leveraging market insights, analytics, technology platforms, and industry expertise to develop strategic capital equipment plans that improve decision-making and deliver measurable value. You will collaborate with executive client leaders, guide project teams, and contribute to thought leadership that advances healthcare capital planning and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex consulting projects that support strategic capital equipment planning while managing scope, budget, timelines, resources, and deliverables.

  • Analyze market insights, utilization trends, and capital equipment data to develop strategic recommendations that drive client decision-making.

  • Present findings, recommendations, and business cases to executive client audiences, including CFOs, COOs, service line leaders, and clinical leadership.

  • Facilitate executive-level meetings and discussions that align stakeholders and advance strategic capital equipment initiatives.

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior client leaders by serving as a strategic advisor on Medical Capital Equipment planning.

  • Mentor less experienced consultants by providing guidance on data analysis, consulting methodologies, and analytical storytelling.

  • Support business development by identifying opportunities for additional consulting services and contributing to marketing, proposal development, and sales activities.

  • Partner with internal and external subject matter experts to develop thought leadership, improve consulting tools and methodologies, and enhance Capital Equipment solutions.

  • Leverage specialized healthcare industry knowledge and market relationships to promote Vizient solutions and deliver measurable client value.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.

  • 7 or more years of relevant experience required.

  • Experience in Medical Capital Equipment required.

  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead large, complex consulting projects.

  • Strong project management, strategic planning, and organizational skills.

  • Clinical and data analytics experience within the healthcare industry strongly preferred.

  • Knowledge of healthcare capital purchasing decisions and capital planning processes preferred.

  • Exceptional presentation, facilitation, and executive-level communication skills.

  • Proven ability to build trusted client relationships and influence senior leaders.

  • Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $117,600.00 to $206,000.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
