Senior Backend Developer (PHP/Go)

The Role

We’re looking for a  Senior Backend Developer to join our new development team within the global VR video streaming ecosystem.

What You Will Do

• Develop and maintain server apps.

• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements.

• Develop and maintain APIs, optimize API responsiveness and efficiency.

• Optimize database performance through indexing, caching, and query optimization.

• Improve code quality through unit and integration tests.

• Debug and enhance app reliability.

• Participate in code reviews, daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

What We Are Looking For

• 3+ years of Software Engineering experience with Golang

• Experience with NoSQL (MongoDB or similar)

• Knowledge of network and internet protocols

• Experience working with Redis (nice-to-have)

• Experience with PHP, Python or C++ is a big plus (nice-to-have)

• Written and spoken English level B1+ (Intermediate+) and above
