Job description

Job Title: Technical Project Manager
Location: – TRANSAMERICA, IOWA (REMOTE)

Technical Project Management Skills
  • End-to-end project delivery (initiation to closure)
  • Agile / Scrum and Waterfall project management
  • Sprint planning, PI planning, and release management
  • RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) management
  • Schedule, scope, and change control management
  • Cross-team coordination (infra, security, dev, vendors)
  • Status reporting, executive updates, and governance decks
  • Dependency and milestone tracking
  • Budget and resource coordination (basic financial tracking)

Technical & IT Skills (Must-Have)
  • Strong understanding of IT systems and architecture
  • Experience working with:
    • Infrastructure, Cloud, or Application platforms
    • APIs, integrations, and data flows
    • Security concepts (vulnerabilities, incidents, access, compliance)
  • Familiarity with SDLC, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with incident, problem, and change management
  • Ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders
