About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer. You will be responsible for development tools and infrastructure. As well as, deploying product updates, and identifying production issues. We are looking for someone with a strong product-mindset who cares about the big picture along with the details.

Our team is a collection of driven, hard-working, passionate engineers who care about the product. If you’d enjoy working in such an environment and you have a solid background in software engineering and are familiar with Java and .Net, we’d love to speak with you!

Role Objectives:

  • Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
  • Understanding the needs of stakeholders and clearly conveying those needs to developers
  • Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
  • Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
  • Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
  • Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions

Responsibilities:

  • Build and set up tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience
  • Perform root cause analysis for production errors
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues
  • Develop scripts to automate visualization
  • Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Deploy updates and fixes
  • Provide Level 2 technical support
  • Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems

Qualifications:

You’re a fit for this role if you have:

  • BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field
  • Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
  • Proficient with git, GitLab, Jenkins, NewRelic
  • Good knowledge of Java and / or .Net
  • Working knowledge of databases and SQL
  • Problem-solving attitude
  • Collaborative team spirit
