QA Manager

We are searching for a Test Manager to oversee quality assurance testing operations. In this role, you will work with a team of QA professionals to ensure that our software products are suitable for launch. You will utilize test automation, so you should have some experience using automated testing tools and programming languages like Java and SQL. You are responsible for both acceptance testing and QA testing, so you should have a background in both. In addition to experience, you should have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a closely related field.

Responsibilities:

• Build up and lead the Testing Team
• Automate as much of the QA and testing process as possible
• Train new QA staff members in our testing methods and standards
• Defining the scope of testing within the context of each release/delivery
• Deploying and managing resources for testing
• Coordinate development, professional services, and analytical teams on completion of the full testing cycle
• Apply the appropriate test measurements and metrics in the product and the Testing Team
• Plan, deploy and manage the testing effort for any given engagement.
• Oversee all testing operations
• Report any issues back to the development team
• Track and log all test results and issues

Qualifications:

You’re a fit for this role if you:

• Have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a closely related field
• Have several years of QA and testing experience
• Have experience with the test automation tool Test Complete from SmartBear for both Performance and Multi-User testing
• Have project management experience
• Have experience documenting test cases and test scripts
• Have experience in an agile software development environment, preferably Software as a service (SaaS), with a strong understanding of the software development life cycle
