QA Automation Lead

Project Description:
The analytics engineering team is a high-impact engineering and analytics group focused on building scalable tools that help organizations identify growth opportunities, optimize strategy, and improve business performance.
The mission of the team is to transform complex data into actionable insights through modern technologies and close collaboration with business stakeholders.

QA Engineers, Product Managers, Automation Engineers, Technologists

Hard Skills / Must Have:
• Strong expertise in QA methodologies, defect management, and quality metrics
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in enterprise or SaaS environments
• Ability to align testing strategies with business goals and data-driven workflows
• Strong communication and collaboration skills within Agile teams
• Highly proficient in JIRA
• Version control (Git, GitHub), branching and PR workflows
• CI/CD concepts and pipeline familiarity (GitHub Actions pipelines)
• Agile/Scrum familiarity (sprint planning, retrospectives)
• Docker for local or containerized test execution
• Experience with multiple environment management (Alpha/Beta/Prod)
• Allure reporting and test artifact analysis
• Strong analytical and documentation skills
• Experience contributing to automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with performance and reliability testing concepts
• Experience with AI-assisted testing tools
• Understanding of financial data validation and model integrity (CAGR, Excel comparisons)
• TypeScript, Playwright, Node.js, async/await, Page Object Model (POM)
• Playwright Track (Modern Stack)
• Git/GitHub, CI/CD with GitHub Actions, Docker, Allure reporting
• Selenium Track (Enterprise Stack)
Responsibilities and Tasks:
• Support ongoing quality assurance across data-intensive web applications and microservice-based platforms
• Work with multiple UI and API testing frameworks
• Maintain existing automated test suites across mature technology stacks
• Contribute to forward-looking automation initiatives on modern stacks
• Collaborate with Product Managers and technologists

Technolgy Stack: Java 17, Selenium 4.x, JUnit 5, Maven, advanced POM design; Allure reporting, REST Assured (for API validation), Docker; API Track (Service Layer Automation); Python 3.9+, Pytest, REST API testing, requests library, JSON/YAML; Authentication flows (Bearer/OAuth2), Dockerized test execution
