Job description

Dept: SHS Business Performanc

Will this position be required to work onsite for any reason at any time? No, but if resource is local, may require to come in only 1x a week.

Engagement Description –
This engagement will backfill a critical role supporting active roadmap and enterprise initiatives. The resource will ensure continuity across requirements gathering, process analysis, reporting, stakeholder coordination, and delivery tracking. Filling this position is necessary to avoid capacity gaps, reduce risk to committed milestones, and maintain alignment with enterprise priorities, expected business value, and approved investment outcomes.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex business processes and data.
• Proficiency using tools such as AI, Excel, SQL, or reporting platforms to create reports, monitor performance, and support informed decision-making.
• Ability to facilitate stakeholder discussions, elicit and document requirements, challenge assumptions, and translate business needs into scalable business and technical solutions.

• Skilled in requirements gathering and process modeling, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and develop workflows, process maps, and functional specifications as needed.
• Strong process improvement and execution mindset, with the ability to identify gaps and implement effective solutions.
• Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills, serving as a bridge between business and IT teams.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new concepts and work independently with strong self-motivation.
• Ability to analyze large and complex datasets, identify trends and root causes, and provide actionable recommendations that drive business decisions and operational improvements.
• Experience developing metrics, KPIs, and performance measures to assess business outcomes, monitor progress, and support continuous improvement efforts.
• Skilled in root cause analysis, problem identification, and solution evaluation using structured analytical approaches.
• Demonstrated ability to influence decisions through data storytelling, executive-level communication, and fact-based recommendations.

Preferred Skills/Experience – Optional but preferred skills/experience. Include:
• Familiarity with project tracking tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, Planview, Wave or similar platforms.
• At least five (5) years of relevant technical or business work experience.
• Experience supporting roadmap, portfolio, or enterprise-level initiatives.
• Experience creating executive-level summaries, dashboards, or status reports.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in agile, fast-paced environment.

Education/Certifications – Include:
• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
