Job description

Technical Sales Manager, Precision Grinding, is a proactive and customer-focused person with a strong technical and commercial background. Responsible for collaborating in the Industrial field and creating partnerships and sales opportunities with Industrial customers.

Technical Sales Manager must understand business needs, stay updated on industry trends, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that market requirements are fully grasped and execution plans align with expectations. Technical Sales Manager identifies and prioritizes opportunities that support Mirka’s goals, helping to shape the company’s strategic direction.

In practice Technical Sales Manager has capabilities and drive to identify and hunt new Industrial customers and business opportunities in complex focus applications. Collaboration with other Mirka organisations is crucial to succeed in the role.

Role is regional/global, requiring frequent traveling and good language skills.

Duties and responsibilities

·         Generate Pipeline

o    Reach out potential customers in focus markets to generate qualified leads and opportunities

·         Industry Representation

o    Participate in trade fairs and industry events to create customer relations and generate leads

·         Create Success

o    Master consultative selling methods and support customers throughout the sales process to drive success with Mirka solutions

·         Collaborate

o    Create and maintain partnerships with different stakeholders in the industry

·         Drive Efficiency

o    Contribute to optimise the efficiency and effectiveness of proposed technical solutions for the customers.

·         Document Success

o    Maintain thorough records in CRM, document success stories, and lessons learned for continuous improvement.

·         Knowledge sharing

o    Share your knowhow and success within your team.

Skills and experience

·         Commercial/Sales understanding within Industrial field

·         Relevant technical background to be able to work with complex applications

·         Self-motivated and organized mindset with ability to work independently

·         Excellent communication skills in English to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

·         A collaborative mindset to work effectively with different stakeholders and internal teams like Application Engineers, R&D, and Production.
