Accountable is a tech-enabled behavioral health company helping people recover from substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges through human connection, coaching, peer support, accountability, and evidence-informed care. We partner with individuals, families, health plans, and healthcare organizations to help members stay engaged in recovery and improve long-term outcomes.
We are launching Principal Illness Navigation - Peer Support services for members with serious behavioral health and substance use conditions. We are seeking part-time contract psychiatrists to perform initiating visits, supervise peer support services, and support a compliant, high-quality care model.
Accountable is hiring part-time, remote psychiatrists as 1099 independent contractors. Candidates may be licensed in one or more of the following states:
Candidates may be licensed in one state or multiple states. Multi-state licensure is preferred but not required.
This is a flexible contract role focused on clinical initiation, medical necessity documentation, care plan oversight, supervision of peer support services, and clinical escalation when needed. This is not a traditional high-volume medication management position.
The psychiatrist will serve as the initiating and supervising practitioner for assigned members in the state or states where they are licensed and credentialed.
This is a 1099 independent contractor role with a guaranteed minimum monthly retainer.
Compensation includes:
The monthly retainer is intended to compensate for baseline availability, administrative coordination, and participation in the program. Additional compensation is based on completed visits, active supervised members, and hourly clinical or administrative work as needed.
This is a flexible, part-time 1099 contract role. The time commitment will depend on member volume in the psychiatristβs licensed state or states.
