Job description

Digital Resource is an award-winning digital marketing agency headquartered in West Palm Beach, Florida. We partner with U.S.-based businesses to design and execute marketing strategies that drive traffic, conversions, and long-term growth. Our Web Team builds and maintains websites for a diverse portfolio of clients.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Mid-Level Web Developer to join our Web Team. This is a fully remote position reporting to the Website Development Manager.

This is a mid-level role. We are not looking for someone who is just starting out in web development, and this is not a senior or team-lead position. The right candidate has 2–4 years of professional experience building real client-facing websites, can take a project from brief to launch with limited oversight, and is ready to grow toward greater complexity and responsibility over time.

Key Responsibilities

Build and Maintain Client Websites
  • Build, launch, and maintain client websites in Webflow and WordPress, including CMS configuration, responsive layouts, and custom interactions
  • Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet client-specific requirements
  • Perform ongoing content updates, plugin management, troubleshooting, and site maintenance across multiple client accounts
Collaborate and Deliver
  • Work closely with designers to translate visual concepts into pixel-accurate, accessible web experiences
  • Collaborate with account managers to understand client requirements, scope work, and provide timeline estimates
  • Communicate project status proactively — flag blockers early, deliver on commitments

Optimize and Improve
  • Optimize sites for SEO, Core Web Vitals, page speed, and WCAG accessibility standards
  • Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, debugging, and prototyping
  • Stay current on Webflow and WordPress platform updates and best practices

Required Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of professional web development experience in a client-facing or agency environment
  • Hands-on Webflow experience is a must have: CMS collections, dynamic templates, interactions, and publishing workflows
  • Hands-on WordPress: custom theme development, plugin development or customization, Gutenberg, and ACF
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and responsive web design
  • JavaScript familiarity — ability to read, modify, and debug scripts in a WordPress or Webflow context
  • Understanding of UI/UX principles and web accessibility standards
  • Experience using project management systems to relay project information
  • Ability to estimate timelines and scope work from a client brief
  • Strong troubleshooting skills — solves problems before escalating
  • Comfort using AI-assisted development tools in daily workflow
  • Excellent written English communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Shopify theme development and Liquid templating
  • SEO implementation and Core Web Vitals optimization experience
  • Node.js and/or React.js fundamentals
  • AI development platforms — Lovable, Bolt.new, or v0.dev
  • Web security principles and best practices
  • Familiarity with Git and version control
  • Experience mentoring or reviewing junior developer work

How to Apply

To be considered, your application must include all of the following:
  1. Your resume
  2. A link to at least one live Webflow site you built or significantly developed
  3. A link to at least one live WordPress site you built or significantly developed
  4. A brief response (2–3 sentences) describing the most complex build challenge you have solved in either platform and how you approached it
Applications that do not include portfolio links for both platforms will not be reviewed.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive salary commensurate with mid-level experience
  • Fully remote — work from anywhere
  • Clear advancement path: Senior Web Developer designation, expanded platform scope (Shopify, Node.js/React), and mentorship opportunities
  • Collaborative environment with designers, strategists, and account managers
  • Continuous learning and skill development supported
