Position Overview:
The Manager, Traffic will oversee the end-to-end management of logistics operations, ensuring cost competitiveness and efficiencies for all regions. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with freight forwarders, managing product compliance and shipping regulations, and addressing shipping issues and disruptions. The Manager will collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, and the Reverse Logistics team to drive continuous improvement.


This is a remote position in Amsterdam, Netherlands. 


Base Pay Range

The base pay range of this position is €57,507 - €106,410 annually.

Please note that the provided range reflects the pay spectrum for positions within the same job category as the one to which this position belongs. The final offer will consider various factors, such as location, education, and prior experience, to ensure a comprehensive and fair compensation assessment.

Expected Posting Timelines

This position will be open for a minimum of 5 days, a maximum of 90 days.


The Day-to-Day

The essential functions and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

  • Manage Freight Forwarder relationships which includes negotiating costs, rebates, and shipping opportunities.
  • Manage a direct report by providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  • Monitor shipping performance, including on-time deliveries and freight carrier performance metrics.
  • Track and ensure on-time deliveries for all shipments, addressing any delays and disruptions.
  • Stay updated on traffic, trade regulations, and global shipping requirements.
  • Understand and manage HTS codes for all products, ensuring correct classification and duty payment.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, and Reverse Logistics to ensure smooth end-to-end logistics operations.
  • Assist with transactions and replenishment for International Depots
  • Identify and recommend improvements to current logistic processes and systems.
  • Manage expertise in Incoterms
  • Provide KPI reports on shipping performance, cost, delays, and areas of improvement.
