Job description

About the Role

TrustEngine is at an inflection point. We just launched the MortgageCoach AI Creator, an AI-powered borrower presentation tool that's already changing how loan officers work, and we have an aggressive roadmap ahead. We're growing, we're acquiring, and we're building toward a category-defining platform in mortgage technology.

We're looking for a Director of Product who can run the business while our VP of Product works on it. That distinction matters. This isn't a role for someone who needs direction at every turn. It's a role for someone who can walk into a complex, fast-moving product organization, earn the trust of engineers, customer success, and customers to become the operational center of gravity for everything we ship.

Responsibilities

  • Serving as the day-to-day PM lead on the AI Creator and MortgageCoach platform. Taking feedback, writing specs, driving sprints, and owning feature iteration through quantitative and qualitative input.
  • Managing the product roadmap execution. Translating strategic priorities set by the VP of Product into a clear, sequenced plan the team can execute against.
  • Running structured customer discovery and feedback programs.
  • Driving cross-functional alignment between product, engineering, CS, and sales on timelines, priorities, and launches
  • Surfacing trade-offs, capacity gaps, and delivery risks early; with solutions
  • Representing product in day-to-day leadership conversations and freeing the VP of Product to focus on strategy, partnerships, and the 12–24 month horizon

Requirements

  • 7+ years in product management, with at least 2 years operating at a principal or director level
  • Proven track record of owning and shipping product in a B2B SaaS environment
  • Experience running customer sessions, discovery programs, or formal feedback loops
  • Has led or directly managed other PMs, or has operated as the de facto product lead on a significant product line
  • Mortgage or fintech industry experience is a meaningful plus

Compensation Range: $133,789 - $210,500

Benefits

  • Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)
  • Retirement Plan (401k, IRA)
  • Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D)
  • Flexible Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Holidays)
  • Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity)
  • Short Term & Long Term Disability
  • Training & Development
  • Work From Home
  • Wellness Resources
  • Stock Option Plan
