The Senior Manager, Analytics is responsible for leading and scaling SavvyMoney’s analytics function. This role reports to VP of Data and Analytics, and will oversee a high-performing team of data analysts, fostering their professional growth while remaining hands-on in analytics, data storytelling, and insights delivery.

In this role, you will partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Data Science and Engineering to drive a deeper understanding of our business, optimize performance, and accelerate the company’s use of advanced analytics and AI.

This is both a strategic and executional role, ideal for a leader who thrives at the intersection of data, business impact, and team development.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of data analysts.

  • Build clear career paths and growth opportunities for team members.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, curiosity, and analytical excellence.

Analytics Strategy & Execution

  • Define and execute the analytics roadmap to align with business and product goals.

  • Oversee delivery of key analytics initiatives across customer insights, performance tracking, and product optimization.

  • Drive quarterly and annual planning for the analytics function, aligning with company priorities.

  • Ensure analytics projects are scoped, prioritized, and executed effectively across stakeholders

  • Define and track success metrics/KPIs for analytics initiatives and report impact regularly to the stakeholders.

Hands-On Analytics

  • Drive event instrumentation, data pipelines, and KPI definitions for new product launches to ensure measurement is in place before release.

  • Conduct deep-dive analysis to uncover insights into user behavior, FI performance, and product usage.

  • Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and self-service tools to empower business stakeholders.

  • Communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Partner with Product, Marketing, GTM, Product Management and Engineering to deliver actionable insights that shape business and product strategies.

  • Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to enhance data accessibility, automation, and infrastructure scalability.

  • Serve as a key analytics representative in cross-functional planning and leadership discussions.

  • Own data quality and metric integrity across analytics systems by partnering with the Data Architect to define data standards, monitoring, and issue resolution processes.

  • Partner with Data Scientists to support exploratory data analysis (EDA) and feature selection.

  • Collaborate with the AI Analytics Lead to adopt AI-powered solutions and develop scalable self-service analytics capabilities for business stakeholders.

AI adoption

  • Stay current on emerging AI and analytics trends and evaluate their applicability to SavvyMoney’s products and business.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field including Analytics, Software Engineering, or related discipline.

  • 8+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related roles.

  • 3+ years of experience managing data analytics professionals.

  • Proven ability to lead both strategically and tactically- from roadmap development to hands-on execution.

  • Strong SQL, Python skills and experience with BI/visualization tools (e.g.- Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).

  • Hands-on experience leveraging modern AI platforms like Claude, OpenAI, and Gemini to build analytics, automation, and decision-support solutions.

  • Solid understanding of data pipelines, data modeling, and cloud-based data platforms (e.g. AWS Glue, Snowflake, and Redshift).

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and storytelling skills.

  • Experience in fintech or SaaS environments preferred.

Base Salary

The Annual Base salary for this position will be between $165,000.00 and $180,000.00 based upon experience/geography + Annual Bonus Potential
