  • We're currently recruiting on behalf of one of our valued US-based legal clients for a Trust Funding Coordinator.
Role Overview
  • Some roles keep paperwork moving. This one helps protect legacies.
  • As a Trust Funding Coordinator, you'll play an important role in ensuring client assets are properly transferred into trusts. Your attention to detail, organization, and ability to coordinate with financial institutions will help deliver a seamless trust funding process while supporting a high-performing legal team behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare ownership transfer and beneficiary change documentation.
  • Coordinate trust funding packets for clients.
  • Liaise with banks and financial institutions regarding trust funding.
  • Manage trust funding correspondence and follow-ups.
  • Coordinate deed recording activities.
  • Maintain accurate and organized digital client files.
  • Ensure documentation is completed accurately and within required timeframes.
  • Support attorneys with trust funding administration.
  • Monitor multiple funding matters and maintain progress updates.

Requirements

Required Qualifications (Must Have):
  • At least 2 years of administrative experience.
  • Experience in a law firm, banking, financial services, or professional services environment.
  • Experience preparing legal or financial documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience using cloud-based document management systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with trust funding.
  • Experience using Clio.
  • Experience coordinating with financial institutions on legal documentation.
