Job Description

We're looking for a detail-driven payroll specialist with solid Australian payroll experience to join our Australian based team. In this fully remote role, you'll be the go to person for end-to-end payroll processing across the region, ensuring accuracy, compliance and a smooth experience for our people.

What you'll do

  • Own the end-to-end monthly payroll cycle β€” from collection and verification through to processing and filing
  • Plan and execute off-cycle payroll runs and reporting when needed
  • Maintain accurate payroll records to support audit and compliance requirements
  • Resolve employee payroll queries promptly and professionally via our ticketing system
  • Stay across legislative changes and tax updates, collaborating with the team to keep processes current
  • Partner with external payroll vendors and government bodies for social security, pensions, and related administration
  • Handle sensitive payroll data with the highest level of care and confidentiality
  • Contribute to global payroll projects and initiatives as we continue to grow

What you'll bring

  • 2 years of Australian payroll experience β€” you know the compliance landscape well
  • Strong attention to detail and a natural ability to juggle competing priorities without dropping the ball
  • A self-starter mindset β€” you take initiative, manage your time well, and thrive under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to build trust across teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with MYOB PayGlobal or Humanforce is a bonus, not a must
