As we continue our rapid growth, we are looking for a passionate and skilled QA Engineer to join our team and help raise the bar for software quality across the company.

As a QA Engineer at Smeetz, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and overall excellence of our products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, help implement best in class testing strategies, and contribute directly to delivering seamless, high-quality user experiences in a fast-paced and innovative environment.

Requirements

Test Planning and Strategy:

Define and execute clear test plans and strategies with strong coverage, identifying risks early and ensuring all features are properly validated.

Test Execution and Automation:

Perform manual and automated tests across web and mobile platforms, maintain automation scripts, analyze results, and track defects until resolved.

Quality Assurance Processes:

Apply and improve QA best practices, manage test cases and regressions, review UI quality, and ensure consistent, reliable product releases.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with product and engineering teams to clarify requirements, resolve issues, share insights, and communicate test results clearly.

Continuous Improvement:

Drive improvements in QA tools, processes, and automation, seeking opportunities to increase efficiency and overall product quality.

Requirements:

Minimum Experience & Essential Knowledge:

  • 3 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on manual and automated testing methodologies.
  • understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and QA best practices.
  • in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, javascript, typescript…).
  • Experience with testing APIs.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, ideally with GitHub Actions or similar tooling
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Minimum Entry Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

Additional preferred skills:

  • AI-Enhanced Test Automation: Experience leveraging AI tools or techniques to improve test automation efforts, such as implementing self-healing test scripts, using AI for intelligent test case selection/prioritization, or assisting in automated test script generation.
  • AI for QA Process Optimization: Proven ability to utilize AI/ML models or tools for enhancing QA processes, for example, in predictive defect analysis (identifying high-risk areas), intelligent log analysis for faster issue detection, or optimizing test suite execution based on code changes.
  • Evaluation and Integration of AI QA Tools: Demonstrated experience in researching, evaluating, and integrating AI-powered testing tools or platforms (e.g., for visual testing, API testing, performance analysis) into existing QA workflows to boost efficiency, coverage, or defect detection capabilities.
