  • Interfacing with Procurement and Subcontracts to facilitate coordination with vendors/subcontractors
  • Participating in quantity analysis to help determine project costs
  • Reviewing and directing the use of applicable design criteria, codes, standards, and procedures in development of project documents
  • Monitoring productivity and technical proficiency of assigned personnel for task completion
  • Coordinating allocation of interdisciplinary technical personnel on the project and assigning personnel from other technical support groups
  • Assisting the Project Manager in planning, directing, supervising, and controlling the execution of technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the project or study
  • Participating in definition of the technical skills and staff hours required for successful completion of the project
  • Ensuring client criteria/scope are met by all engineering disciplines
  • Expediting distribution of action items following discussions/meetings with the client/Project Manager
  • Understanding the client's business goals to enhance the project work
  • Preparing technical calculations, reports and documentation of activity for the client and project management
  • Acting as Project Manager's deputy for certain activities, such as attending meetings in his/her absence, etc.
  • Mentoring technical staff in their career development
  • Obtaining, analyzing, and circulating technical and contractual information to project disciplines
  • Reviewing and approving change orders – Notifying  project management and other affected personnel of all changes
