Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Maximo Enterprise Solution Architect/ Techno functional SME to lead the design, development, configuration, and deployment of IBM Maximo solutions, especially MAS 8.0 and above. This role requires deep functional domain expertise across key Maximo modules and strong technical knowledge to deliver end-to-end Maximo implementations and upgrades. The ideal candidate will be responsible for technical solutioning, functional mapping, and ensuring alignment with client requirements across diverse industries.

Key Responsibilities
Techno-Functional Expertise

• Lead configuration, customization, and implementation of Maximo EAM modules (Work Management, Asset, Inventory, Procurement, etc.).

• Translate functional requirements into scalable Maximo solutions with technical configurations and scripting.

• Support system architecture design, especially in MAS 8.x environments.

MAS 8.0+ Implementation

• In-depth understanding of MAS architecture, installation, and lifecycle operations.

• Responsible for configuring and deploying MAS applications and managing environments.

Integration & Customization

• Develop MIF integrations, Automation Scripts, workflows, and BIRT reports.

• Integrate Maximo with ERP, GIS, and other enterprise platforms via APIs or middleware.

Functional Process Alignment

• Analyze and document client business processes and align with Maximo modules.

• Define data models, workflows, escalations, and security configurations as per client needs.

Testing, Deployment & Support

• Drive system testing, UAT, and go-live activities.

• Provide post-deployment support, issue resolution, and continuous improvement recommendations.

Team Collaboration & Documentation

• Work with cross-functional teams including DBAs, Infra Admins, and Functional SMEs.

• Create technical documentation, user guides, and support artifacts.

Required Qualifications
Experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in IBM Maximo (7.6.x and MAS 8.0+).

• Proven track record of Maximo implementations, upgrades, and customizations.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Java, MBOs, Automation Scripts, BIRT, MIF, REST/SOAP APIs.

• Experience with MAS deployment, configuration, and containerized environments.

Functional Skills:

• Deep understanding of functional domains in EAM: Asset Lifecycle, Preventive Maintenance, Inventory, Work Orders, Procurement, and related workflows.

Education & Certification:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent field.

• IBM Maximo Certification preferred (MAS 8.x specialization is a plus).

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) for Maximo/MAS hosting.

• Basic knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for Maximo deployments.

• Exposure to Agile methodology for implementation and support workflows.
