About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Electrical Takeoff Specialist / Electrical Estimating Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately quantifying electrical materials, counting items from electrical legends, and measuring distances for cable runs. Your work will support the estimating team in preparing precise project cost assessments.

• Key Responsibilities:

  · Perform detailed takeoffs by counting electrical components from plans and specifications.

  · Measure and calculate distances for cable runs and conduit layouts.

  · Ensure accurate documentation of all takeoff data in estimation software.

  · Assist the estimating team with bid preparation and material cost assessments.

  · Review drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics to ensure completeness and accuracy.

  · Collaborate with project managers and engineers to clarify technical details.

  · Stay updated on industry standards, electrical codes, and best practices.

Requirements:

· Previous experience in electrical estimating, takeoffs, or a related field is preferred.

· Strong understanding of electrical components, blueprints, and technical drawings.

· Proficiency in takeoff software (e.g., PlanSwift, Bluebeam, Accubid) is a plus.

· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in measurements.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
