Rust Freelancer

Position: Rust Developer (freelance)

Location: Remote

Currently we are looking for a Senior Dev with Rust to join the project in acoustic industry for 2 months (20 hours per month).

How can you grow with us?

• You’ll join a project developing software for processing data from a sound sensor. The software records, converts, and synchronizes files with the cloud while also supporting offline mode.
• Check out our previous projects: a powerful cyber risk mitigation platform, a Norwegian eco-friendly start-up or something just as exciting!
• You will own your work and decide on the project’s direction.

What we’re looking for:

Experience:

• 2+ year of experience or proven track record of using Rust in commercial projects.

Tech skills:

• Strong interest in DDD & clean architecture,
• Very good knowledge of Rust,
• High code quality,
• Experience with Raspberry Pi,
• Passion for unit testing,
• Knowledge of communication techniques between services (MQTT).

Soft skills:

• B2+ in English – we work internationally, so that’s a must,
• Strong collaboration, communication, and organization skills.

Nice-to-haves:

• Passion for new technologies and startups!
• Own projects, presence in the Rust community,
• Any other programming languages and frameworks.
