- Annual compensation: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00
Position Overview: The Human Resource Generalist serves as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, partnering to foster a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace. This role is primarily responsible for supporting employee relations by providing guidance on performance management, workplace concerns, policy interpretation, corrective action, investigations, and leadership coaching. Through strong partnerships across the organization, this role delivers proactive, value-added human resources support that advances the mission, vision, values, and business objectives of Family Care Center.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Serves as the primary Human Resources partner for assigned business units, providing day-to-day guidance and support on employee relations matters, performance management, workplace concerns, and organizational effectiveness.
- Partners with leaders to address employee performance, conduct workplace investigations, facilitate conflict resolution, and administer corrective action while ensuring consistency, fairness, and compliance with company policies and employment laws.
- Coaches leaders on human resources best practices, employee relations, talent management, compensation, communication, organizational change, and leadership effectiveness.
- Maintains a thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws to ensure compliant human resources practices and mitigate organizational risk.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resources programs, including compensation, benefits, leave administration, performance management, employee recognition, and learning and development initiatives.
- Responds to employee and leader inquiries regarding human resources policies, procedures, benefits, leave, and employment practices, providing timely and accurate guidance.
- Assists in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of human resources programs, policies, procedures, and tools that enhance the employee experience and support organizational goals.
- Supports new hire orientation, onboarding, employee transitions, and offboarding activities to promote a seamless employee lifecycle experience.
- Identifies trends and opportunities through employee relations activity, investigations, engagement feedback, and workforce data, making recommendations to improve leader effectiveness, employee engagement, and organizational culture.

- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Supervisory or Managerial Responsibility
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum three years of human resources experience required; at least two years supporting complex employee relations matters preferred.
- PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.
Work Environment and Conditions:

- Occasionally lift and/or move more than 15 pounds.
