We're looking for a Technical Project Manager who can confidently lead customer onboarding initiatives and deliver multiple small-to-medium-sized technology projects in a fast-paced Microsoft-focused services environment.

What You'll Be Doing

Project Delivery

You'll take ownership of customer onboarding projects from initiation through successful transition into support, ensuring every project is delivered with excellence.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage customer onboarding projects from initiation through transition to support.
  • Plan, execute, monitor, and close multiple concurrent projects.
  • Facilitate project kick-offs, requirements gathering, planning workshops, and status meetings.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, RAID logs, status reports, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate internal technical resources and customer stakeholders.
  • Monitor project scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and budgets.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to customer expectations.
  • Manage project change requests and scope adjustments through established governance processes.

Customer Onboarding Management

You'll become the trusted project lead for customers as they begin their journey with us, ensuring every onboarding is smooth, structured, and successful.

Responsibilities include:

  • Act as the primary project contact for new customers during onboarding.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities including:
    • Discovery workshops
    • Solution deployment scheduling
    • User migration activities
    • Security and compliance onboarding
    • Service transition activities
  • Ensure onboarding milestones are achieved and customer expectations are managed proactively.
  • Facilitate smooth handover to Managed Services, Customer Success, or Support teams.

PMO Governance & Compliance

Strong governance drives successful delivery. You'll ensure every project follows established PMO standards and remains audit-ready throughout its lifecycle.

Responsibilities include:

  • Enforce PMO standards, methodologies, templates, and project controls.
  • Maintain project governance artefacts including:
    • Project plans
    • Risk registers
    • RAID logs
    • Decision logs
    • Change control documentation
    • Executive status reports
  • Ensure project documentation is complete and audit-ready.
  • Participate in project reviews and governance meetings.
  • Support continuous improvement of PMO processes and delivery methodologies.
  • Track and report project KPIs and delivery metrics.

Stakeholder Management

Success comes from strong communication and collaboration.

You'll:

  • Build strong relationships with customers, delivery teams, vendors, and leadership.
  • Communicate project status clearly and professionally to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Escalate risks, issues, and blockers appropriately.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

Financial & Resource Management

You'll also help ensure projects remain commercially successful by:

  • Tracking project effort, resource utilization, and project profitability where applicable.
  • Assisting with project forecasting and capacity planning.
  • Ensuring accurate project administration and time tracking.

What We're Looking For

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Management, Project Management, or related field.
  • Equivalent practical experience may be considered.

Experience

We're looking for someone who has:

  • 3–5 years of project management experience in an IT services, managed services, consulting, or systems integrator environment.
  • Experience managing customer onboarding projects and technology implementations.
  • Experience working within a PMO structure and governance framework.
  • Proven experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects simultaneously.

Technical Knowledge

Working knowledge required:

  • Microsoft 365
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Identity and Access Management concepts
  • Cloud migrations
  • Managed Services environments
  • Cybersecurity and compliance concepts
  • IT infrastructure and networking fundamentals

While this isn't a hands-on engineering role, you should be comfortable engaging in technical discussions and understanding delivery dependencies.
