Position: Payroll Clerk
Location
: AutoCanada/ACX Home Office (Edmonton, AB) / Remote within Canada
Classification: Full-Time, Immediate Hire

Your area of focus.

Reporting to the ACX Payroll Team Lead, the Payroll Clerk is responsible for the entire function of the divisional payroll process. Ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, monthly, quarterly and annual remittances and maintaining employee information. This individual will be experienced in payroll processes, familiar with legislation across Canada and procedures and ensure compliance. 


What drives your day-to-day?

  • Bi-weekly, weekly & semi-monthly full cycle payroll processing for multiple locations across Canada.
  • Process new hires, changes, and termination in payroll system.
  • Work with Human Resources Manager to facilitate onboarding, terminations and employee changes.
  • Point of contact for all payroll and benefit related inquiries
  • Maintain electronic file system
  • Respond to inquiries and requests from employees, management & government agencies


What are the must-haves…

  • Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) an asset 
  • 2 years full cycle payroll experience
  • Benefit administration an asset 
  • Quebec payroll processing experience an asset
  • Knowledge of French an asset
  • Familiarity with ADP payroll software an asset 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 
  • The ability to professionally handle confidential matters and show appropriate level of judgment 
  • Strong sense of ethics and integrity
