Your role at Clorox:

The overall management of the Wellington Central and East, Wairarapa to Hawkes Bay territory, focused on achievement of national sales objectives through working an effective customer call plan covering Retail Grocery, Foodservice/Commercial distributors and wholesalers as well as selected Convenience and Hardware stores. Planning and implementation of agreed promotional plans and initiatives set by the Regional Sales Manager.

In this role, you will:

1. Achievement of annual business targets and drive sales in the territory.

  • Implementation of instore display objectives in line with retailer head office requirements and Clorox initiatives.
  • Execute Annual Plan and KPIs for each category. 
  • Develop outstanding strategic relationships with customers at store level, integrating their strategic priorities into our customer strategy and business plans. 

2. Achievement of product distribution targets in line with national objectives and presentation of all appropriate NPD to customers.  

  • Ensure all agreed head office ranged products are on shelf and all further distribution opportunities are executed in line with retailer and Clorox ranging.
  • Implementation of account shelf plans. 
  • Implementation of seasonal and new product display activity. 
  • Identify new customer opportunities within territory using tools available, to maximise sales growth and implement plans with the customer.

3. Timely and accurate completion of administrative requests and requirements. 

  • Strict adherence to the Clorox Code of Conduct in all aspects of the role. 
  • Report store and trade activity including market trends, competitor activity, product performance and pricing. 

What we look for:

Years and Type of Experience:

  • Minimum: 2 years experience in being a Territory Manager
  • Desirable: 4 years or more Territory Manager experience in the Grocery Channel
