Job description

Role Summary

The Learning Systems Analyst plays a key role in the administration, governance, and continuous improvement of Blackbaud’s learning technology ecosystem. This role is responsible for the operational health, consistency, and scalability of enterprise learning platforms, including DevelopU (Docebo) and other learning systems as the ecosystem evolves.

This is a systems and enablement role, not a centralized content production role. In addition to core platform administration, the Senior Learning Systems Analyst defines standards, structures, and guidance that help stakeholders use learning platforms effectively and consistently while maintaining clear ownership of their content and programs.

The Learning Systems Analyst partners closely with Learning & Development, HR, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure learning platforms are well governed, integrated where appropriate, and aligned with business needs. The role requires sound judgment, strong systems thinking, and comfort operating in a changing environment where tools, priorities, and processes continue to evolve.

Key Responsibilities

Learning Systems Administration & Governance

  • Administer, configure, and maintain enterprise learning platforms, including courses, learning plans, users, enrollments, roles, and permissions
  • Support one or more learning systems as part of a broader learning technology ecosystem, ensuring consistent governance and user experience across platforms
  • Maintain data integrity, audit readiness, and compliance through regular reviews, controls, and documentation
  • Support instructor-led, virtual, and on-demand learning workflows end to end, including troubleshooting and coordination with partners as needed

Stakeholder Enablement & Platform Guidance

  • Define and communicate platform-level standards, naming conventions, and structural guidance
  • Enable stakeholders through documentation, onboarding, coaching, and review processes that support scalable self-service
  • Partner with stakeholders to inform learning path structure and catalog organization while maintaining clear business ownership of content
  • Maintain and evolve job aids, guides, and reference materials that help users navigate platforms effectively

Data, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Support accurate, defensible learning data and reporting across learning platforms and connected systems
  • Translate system data into insights that inform decision-making, adoption, and improvement opportunities
  • Identify and implement opportunities to simplify, standardize, or automate learning system processes

Platform Evolution & AI-Enabled Features

  • Leverage built-in automation and AI-enabled features within learning platforms and supporting tools to improve consistency, discoverability, and administrative efficiency
  • Provide guidance to stakeholders on the responsible use of AI-assisted features within established governance standards
  • Maintain human oversight and accountability for quality, accuracy, and compliance of all system outputs
  • Stay current on learning technology trends and support platform roadmap initiatives, enhancements, and feature rollouts

Required Skills & Experience

  • Hands-on experience administering a learning management system; Docebo experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to operate independently and apply sound judgment within established standards and governance
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with complex systems and data
  • Proven ability to document processes and communicate guidance to non-technical audiences
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders in a service-oriented, enablement-focused role
  • Advanced English proficiency

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting or working across multiple HR or learning systems in an enterprise environment
  • Exposure to compliance campaigns or audit-driven learning requirements
  • Familiarity with Workday-integrated learning or compliance-driven training ecosystems
