Job description

Striim, (pronounced “stream” with two i’s for integration and intelligence), is a unified data integration and streaming platform that connects clouds, data, and applications with unprecedented speed and simplicity to deliver the right data at the right time. Striim is used by enterprise companies to monitor events across any environment, build applications that drive digital transformation, and leverage true real-time analytics to provide a superior experience to their customers. At our company, we believe and expect all of our employees to operate as one with unlimited potential and dignity.

We are seeking a strategic, technically adept Product Marketing leader to own product marketing across our three core go-to-market motions: Application & Data Modernization, Event Stream Processing, and the Real-Time Contextual Data Platform for Enterprise AI.

This role will translate Striim's real-time data streaming, change data capture (CDC), observability, and AI-agent capabilities—including Sherlock, Sentinel, Euclid, Foreseer, CoPilot, and MCP AgentLink—into compelling market positioning, differentiated messaging, successful product launches, and field-ready sales assets that drive pipeline growth, win rates, and category leadership.

As the senior Product Marketing voice within the organization, this role partners closely with Product Management, Sales, Alliances, Customer Success, and Enablement to transform product innovation into measurable commercial outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute global go-to-market strategies for Striim's platform, solutions, and AI-driven innovations across Application & Data Modernization, Event Stream Processing, and Enterprise AI use cases.
  • Develop customer segmentation, positioning, messaging, and value frameworks aligned to key technical and business decision-makers, including CIOs, CDOs, Enterprise Architects, Database Administrators, and Data Engineers.
  • Partner with Product, Sales, and Alliances teams to align product roadmap priorities with market opportunities, customer demand, and revenue objectives.
  • Drive product launches from strategy through execution, including platform releases, AI capabilities, and solution enhancements, while establishing success metrics tied to pipeline generation, adoption, and ARR impact.
  • Translate complex technical capabilities—including CDC, real-time streaming, data integration, AI agents, and observability—into clear, differentiated business value propositions.
  • Create and maintain messaging frameworks that communicate measurable outcomes such as accelerated cloud modernization, reduced total cost of ownership, improved AI readiness, faster time-to-value, and reduced operational risk.
  • Develop and maintain high-impact sales enablement assets, including battlecards, competitive positioning, pitch decks, demo narratives, ROI tools, customer presentations, and executive messaging.
  • Partner directly with Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Alliances teams on strategic enterprise opportunities to improve deal velocity, competitive differentiation, and win rates.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive developments, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes across financial services, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, telecommunications, and other enterprise markets.
  • Conduct competitive analysis against Oracle GoldenGate, Confluent, Fivetran, custom Kafka architectures, and emerging real-time AI and data platform providers.
  • Deliver actionable market intelligence and customer insights that influence product strategy, roadmap decisions, and go-to-market execution.
  • Represent Striim through analyst briefings, webinars, conferences, customer advisory boards, cloud partner events, and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer and market within the organization, helping guide future product innovation and strategic investment decisions.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and technical subject matter experts to develop thought leadership content that advances Striim's market position and category leadership.
  • Leverage modern AI-enabled workflows and tools to accelerate content development, competitive analysis, enablement creation, and go-to-market execution while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.

Requirements

  • 8–12 years of experience in B2B software product marketing, with a minimum of 3 years in a Senior Manager, Director, or equivalent leadership role.
  • Proven experience marketing enterprise software solutions within data infrastructure, data integration, data streaming, analytics, cloud platforms, developer tools, AI/ML, or related technology categories.
  • Demonstrated success leading end-to-end product launches that delivered measurable business outcomes, including pipeline growth, revenue impact, customer adoption, or market expansion.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise buying processes and the ability to develop messaging that resonates with both technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to create messaging, narratives, and sales content that drive action.
  • Experience building sales enablement programs and assets that improve seller effectiveness and support enterprise deal cycles.
  • Familiarity with enterprise sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, Challenger Sale, or comparable consultative selling frameworks.

  • Demonstrated use of AI-enabled productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gong AI, or similar technologies to improve business outcomes and operational efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Change Data Capture (CDC), real-time data streaming, event-driven architectures, streaming analytics, or the Apache Kafka ecosystem.
  • Knowledge of modern cloud data platforms including Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Spanner, Microsoft Fabric, or comparable technologies.
