Job description

Razor is looking for a Junior .NET Developer focused on supporting software development efforts through application design, coding, implementation, testing, and maintenance activities. The role emphasizes developing reliable software solutions, analyzing customer requirements, supporting web and Windows-based applications, and contributing to software enhancements within an Agile development environment.

Education & Certification Requirements: 2+ years of relevant software development experience.

Clearance Requirements: Ability to obtain and maintain a VA Medium Background Investigation clearance.

Responsibilities:
• Analyze customer requirements and support the development of software solutions that align with current architecture and operating environments
• Develop, implement, test, and maintain software applications using .NET technologies
• Support both web-based and Windows-based application development efforts
• Create reliable, maintainable, and error-free software code under the guidance of senior development personnel
• Debug, troubleshoot, and correct software defects and performance issues
• Participate in software implementation, code analysis, and application enhancement activities
• Support system architecture and object-oriented software design initiatives
• Collaborate with technical teams to evaluate current functionality and future enhancement requirements
• Create and maintain technical documentation related to software development and application functionality
• Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, daily standups, and code reviews
• Utilize modern development tools and technologies to improve productivity and software quality
• Embrace AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot to support software development activities

Qualifications:
• 2+ years of professional experience in software development, implementation, and code analysis
• 2+ years of professional experience with service-oriented concepts and enabling technologies
• 2+ years of professional experience debugging and correcting errors in software applications
• 1+ year of professional experience utilizing Agile methodologies
• 1+ year of professional experience with system architecture and object-oriented software design principles
• Experience developing applications within web and Windows environments
• Experience creating software documentation and technical artifacts
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a development team
• Ability to obtain and maintain a VA Medium Background Investigation clearance

Desired Skills:
• Experience with Microsoft .NET technologies and frameworks
