Job description

As a Senior Software Engineer in R&D Software Engineering, you will design, develop, and maintain Clario’s software products while following established SOPs. You will contribute to system architecture, implement development patterns, and help define engineering best practices within the team. In this senior technical role, you will collaborate across functions to clarify dependencies, assess design impacts, and communicate changes that extend beyond your immediate team.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions for Clario products
  • Work hands-on with C# (.NET 3.0+) and Angular (10+), with strong emphasis on Angular development
  • Develop and maintain database components using SQL Server or PostgreSQL
  • Create and maintain technical and design documentation to support application development
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to iterative delivery
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and share technical knowledge
  • Mentor, train, and technically guide junior engineers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage technical dependencies and system impacts
  • Support continuous improvement of development standards and engineering practices
  • Apply domain knowledge where relevant; experience in the clinical or regulated industry is a plus

What We Look For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with C# (.NET) and Angular (10+)
  • Advanced proficiency in Angular
  • Experience working with SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL
  • Proficiency with development tools such as Visual Studio and VS Code
  • Experience producing design and technical documentation
  • Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies
  • Ability to perform effective code reviews and mentor junior engineers
  • Based in or able to work from India (remote/hybrid/on-site)
