Job description

Sales Development Representative

Location: South Africa, Remote

Employment Type: Full-Time (US Hours 9am-5pm EST)

Salary: South African Rand (ZAR)

The successful candidate will be comfortable making cold calls, scheduling meetings, managing follow-ups, and assisting with a variety of operational and administrative tasks as business needs evolve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound cold calls to doctors, clinics, and referral sources to introduce services and generate opportunities.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with healthcare providers and referral partners.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings for leadership with prospective referral sources.
  • Track outreach activities, follow-ups, and lead status within company systems.
  • Maintain consistent communication with prospects and referral partners.
  • Assist with lead generation and business development initiatives.
  • Provide administrative support, including data entry, reporting, scheduling, and other operational tasks.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and take on additional responsibilities as directed by management.
  • Represent the company professionally in all verbal and written communications.

Requirements

  • Previous sales, business development, appointment setting, or lead generation experience.
  • Strong cold-calling and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with a clear, professional speaking voice.
  • Confident and professional presence when interacting with healthcare professionals and business contacts.
  • Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities.
  • Proficient with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and general business software.
  • Highly adaptable, flexible, and willing to assist across different areas of the business.
  • Experience working with healthcare providers or referral-based businesses is an advantage.
