Title: Senior Consultant – VMware Avi Load Balancer

Job Description: We are seeking a Senior Consultant to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our application delivery infrastructure using the VMware Avi Load Balancer platform. You will be responsible for architecting a flexible, high-performing load-balancing infrastructure that supports both traditional virtual machines (VMs) and modern containerized Kubernetes and AI/ML workloads. Your expertise will directly drive our business outcomes, targeting heightened application performance, reduced unplanned downtime, and streamlined network operations.

End-to-End Avi Architecture: Ability to understand a design and implement, operate and initiate troubleshooting for VMware Avi Load Balancer solutions across environments.

Cloud Automation & Self-Service: Configure and/or assist in automation workflows to provide/maintain/enhance self-service catalog options specific to Avi load balancing within a secure, multi-tenant environment.

Experience Required:

Minimum 5 years of network load-balancing experience

3+ years of Avi specific experience.

The Avi Core Stack: Level 300 Knowledge of VMware Avi Load Balancer architecture, including Controllers, Service Engines, and Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB).

Networking Expertise: Level 300 understanding of network fabric models, TCP/IP, BGP EVPN, Tier-0/Tier-1 gateways, and SSL/TLS offloading.

Automation: Understanding of VCF automation/integration capabilities with Avi and VCF.

Fleet Management & Operations: Understanding of centralized logging, network visibility, and proactive health monitoring across the entire load-balancing fleet related to Avi integration as required.

Required Certifications:

VMware Certified Professional - VMware Avi Load Balancer Administrator

Additional Preferred Certifications:

Networking certifications (CCNA, CCNP, F5 or similar legacy load balancing)
