Remote Salesforce Technical Consultant - LATAM/Argentina
Engaging Team: Professional Services
Contract Type: B2B Independent Contractor / Freelance Retainer
Compensation: $4,000 USD/month

Role Purpose

Join our growing LATAM/Argentina Delivery Team as a Salesforce Technical Consultant. You will be part of a global Professional Services team implementing Precursive, a native Salesforce solution. You’ll be hands-on with system configuration, data migration, and deployment within Salesforce.

This role is ideal for someone with foundational Salesforce skills who is looking to grow in consulting or product development, with flexibility for North or South American time zones.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery

  • Build and configure Salesforce solutions as directed by Solution Architects using declarative tools: Flows, Page Layouts, Validation Rules, Approval Processes, and more.
  • Conduct data migrations: mapping, transformations, imports (using Data Importer).
  • Deploy changes from sandbox to production (Gearset or Change Sets).

Collaboration & Communication

  • Coordinate with Solution Architects, Project Managers, and Implementation Consultants.
  • Provide clear updates on progress or blockers during standups or async updates.
  • Attend virtual customer sessions across LATAM/US hours (led by others).
  • Collaborate with Product and internal stakeholders as needed.

Testing, Training & Support

  • Contribute to and refine test scripts.
  • Assist during sprint and UAT testing phases.
  • Provide post-deployment support to ensure customer success.
  • Troubleshoot issues in collaboration with Product teams and escalate appropriately.

Platform Operations & Optimization

  • Advanced Troubleshooting & Debugging: Serve as the final escalation point for complex technical issues within the Precursive platform, utilizing deep expertise in Salesforce and Precursive's suite of tools to diagnose and resolve problems beyond the scope of Tier I and II support.
  • Issue Triage & Root Cause Analysis: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to triage incoming issues, perform thorough root cause analyses, and implement effective solutions to prevent recurrence, ensuring the stability and reliability of the Precursive platform.
  • Technical Consultation: Provide expert guidance to internal teams and customers on best practices, system optimizations, and advanced configurations within the Precursive ecosystem, enhancing overall user experience and satisfaction.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including knowledge base articles and technical guides, to empower Tier I and II support teams and enhance overall support efficiency.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and contribute to the development of tools and scripts to automate repetitive tasks and improve system reliability within the Precursive platform.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 1–3 years in Salesforce roles (Admin, Junior Consultant, Analyst).
  • Proficient in English
  • Experience with:
    • Salesforce Flows, Validation Rules, Approval Processes
    • Change Sets or Gearset deployments
    • Data migration and import processes
  • Familiarity with Salesforce-native apps or AppExchange solutions (Precursive preferred).

Certifications

  • Salesforce Platform App Builder preferred.
  • We will sponsor and mentor you to achieve this if needed.

Logistics & Engagement Perks

  • The Setup: This is a 100% remote, B2B Independent Contractor role directly with Precursive Inc. (US). You’ll be paid a flat monthly retainer in USD and will be responsible for your own local tax filings (e.g., Monotributo).
  • Schedule: Candidates must be able to provide core collaboration availability overlapping with US Eastern or Central time zones.
  • Rest & Recharge: We know contractors rarely get a break. That’s why your monthly USD retainer remains 100% intact for up to 34 days of planned unavailability per year, we simply ask that planned service interruptions are coordinated in advance so project milestones are maintained.
