Senior Paralegal

LauLau is seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented, and exceptionally reliable Senior Paralegal to support our US-based law firm clients. This role requires extensive experience working within US legal environments, a strong understanding of legal procedures and court systems, and the ability to manage complex legal matters with precision and professionalism in a high-performance remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive paralegal support for litigation, transactional, and general legal matters.
  • Draft, review, proofread, and organize legal documents, pleadings, contracts, correspondence, and case materials.
  • Manage court filings, document preparation, and compliance with jurisdiction-specific filing requirements.
  • Conduct legal research and compile findings to support attorneys and legal teams.
  • Maintain case files, legal records, and document management systems with exceptional accuracy.
  • Track critical deadlines, court dates, filing schedules, and case milestones.
  • Coordinate with attorneys, clients, courts, and third parties to ensure timely case progression.
  • Assist with discovery, document review, evidence organization, and trial preparation as needed.
  • Utilize AI tools and legal technologies to improve workflow efficiency, document management, and legal research processes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of senior paralegal experience, including at least 2 recent years working within a US law firm.
  • Strong working knowledge of US legal procedures, court systems, and filing requirements.
  • Common-law training and demonstrated familiarity with US litigation and/or transactional legal workflows.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment.
  • Proven ability to maintain accuracy under pressure, particularly in deadline-driven litigation matters.
  • Excellent legal writing, proofreading, and document review skills.
  • Strong organizational and case management capabilities.
  • Excellent legal-grade written English and professional verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential legal information with the highest degree of discretion and professionalism.
